Front Porch Sunsets

Hi Friends! It’s been SO long since I’ve had an update from Casablanca. Our hero, Prince Eric, had back surgery several weeks ago and we’ve both been focused more on healing than on renovation right now. Some of our last big projects are just waiting on both of us to feel up to the task!

However… we did get some progress on our front porch! I’ve never had a front porch of my own until now, but I have sure been guilty of envying grateful for friends who let me sit on theirs. This porch was pretty solid to begin with, she just needed a trip to the beauty parlor.

Here are some before shots and some comparisons!

And After: Yep, totally should have swept the leaves off the porch. We’re just living real life out here. And that’s Mango. We have a lot of cats. We don’t have any varmints!

After: I can’t even lie, it’s pretty much a dream come true!

We even have a little mini-lettuce garden going on the side steps – ha!
